Yeah -- allegedly. It's pretty impossible to plead not guilty to not having insurance. In this case the lawyer can present a case which may convince the magistrate to take a more lenient view.
Another little update. I still have the car in storage with the full intention of re-shelling it over the summer.
The incident i was involved in when crashing the car has been to court and dealt with. I was charged with driving without insurance and also driving without due care. I pleaded guilty to both and received 8 points (meaning my licence has been revoked) and a fine of £100.
Not as bad as i expected. On the up side i wont be going anywhere so will have plenty of time to work on the car while i try and pass my test again . Also the fine wasn't as hefty as expected so means more money on the car![]()
i look forward to seeing this car up and running again.
i kno someone who met the previous owner in it, said it was a little monster and wishes all the best for getting it fixed, and good luck taking on such a big project
