My aftermarket HU has gone wrong again so I have decided to reinstate the original Clarion (PU2312a). However it doesn't power up and looks like it should have a fuse on the back of it. Can anybody throw some light on this please (what size and in which position nom/vw)? Thanks

After continued researching I have found an old FF post with a picture

Found a spare 15a fuse which fitted and the hu still doesn't power up
I am suspecting the power button on the front panel (which seems limp compared to the other buttons) either that or the unit has got damp being in the garage for the last couple of years.
On reading some of the other posts about joining yellows and reds I am assuming;
The after market Alpine unit had a mini loom running between the hu and the cars radio connectors, so any jiggery pokery would have been done in that. Therefore plugging the Fiat wiring straight back into the oem Clarion should be right?
