Hi guys and girls, My girlfriends car has developed quite a nasty leak, ie 2 inches in the left passenger footwell just last night! Ive been on the phone to a guy who says its more likely to be the seal in the front window rather than the sunroof, he said to check round the sunroof and its not damp at all. Does this sound right? he said itll cost 50 to 60 quid to take out the front window and replace the seal

i would check the sunroof and also all around the door seals aswell first. have a look to check that there are no rubber bungs come loose from the bulk head.

battery tray? mine leaks in from there

i`ll give the battery tray a look as well, however its definately coming in from the left hand side somewhere

Sie has a bonded windscreen. Its more likely to be the sunroof drains blocked. Make sure they are clear, and make sure the vent holes on the bottom of the door are clear too.

Just posted this on similar thread, seals round the rear lights also persish as well, check there too

Well we got it sorted, it was the front window`s seal that had perished, ruled out the sunroof as yesterday i had covered it and this mornin thier was yet another large puddle in the passengers footwell. got the window fixed for 60 quid
