Technical Seicento 187A1000 engine same as the Panda?

Hi

I'm looking for a new engine for my fiat Panda. It's an 1108 active on an 04 plate which I believe has the 187A1000 engine. A breakers yard near me has a Seicento with the same engine. Does anyone know if it will fit without any problems?

Errrr...check the title of this part of the forum..

Then find the right section via the main page...our cars only go up to 1994..

Or buy a proper panda and stay here...

There may be tiny differences, but MPI sei is same as MPI panda. I don't know if the sei euro regulations are of a different level, but i don't think so.. sure someone else will know. Why do you need a new engine at 04 plate?

Just realised you posted in the wrong section, you have the current mk3 and all are MPI. Don't get confused and buy an SPI
