Technical Sei vibration

Hi guys hoping for a bit of help..

Recently upgraded the missus car to a 2002 sei s.

Great little car but it has a few issues. One of which is a vibration..

This is just noticeable when cruiseing along but very noticeable when acelerating especially at 40 / 45 mph. Stop acelerating and it goes back to only slight.

Wheels have been balanced as a first step but made no difference.

I'm thinking something to do with the wishbone, either bush or ball joint.

Any body had a similar problem?

Check the rear gearbox mount has given way as this cause vibrations on the cinqs and seis and only £26 delivered off ebay

Well I'll check that, but we had that issue on our old cinq, it was more a banging underneath for the gearbox mount,. This is def a vibration that get worse when acelerating.

Also got a knocking / clicking noise when turning to find plus assorted rumbles and bangs lol
Got my work cut out but its 100 times better than the old cinq.

Sounds like a cv joint with the clicking etc when turning but get it jacked up and check all ball joints bearings etc for any play.strut top mounts can be a cause of banging and knocking as well :bang::bang:
