In case anyone is interested and missed the "ps" to one of Dazzo's posts - my Sedicivalvole will be at the Classic Car Show/NEC this week.

It will be on the Fiat Motor Club stand all being well - so if any Tipo fans are going feel free to pop over and have a look. (and point out all the faults!!!)

Nice one mike, hope all goes well for you and if i can pesuade the wife to go i will pop and see you,,(y)

It went really well thanks- I ws only there on the Sunday but there was quite a lot of interest all weekend - especially when the bonnet was left open. People kept giving it a second look - I don't think they could believe the engine!!(most people in the Uk expect to see lots of space and a 1.4/1.6)

I took a few pics but they are a bit dark - did anyone else go and photgraph my car? - If so I would love to see them.

If someone can explain how to load up photos to the forum I will post mine

Cheers MIKE

yeah i bet you got the old "didnt know they made 2.0's"....
Didnt manage to make it up there wish we could have gone but busy as usual, gonna make a point of going to some meets next year,

To up load you photos, there is a little paperclip type symbol next to the white smiley face when you reply to a thread! use this to upload your images, easy,(y) (y)

George didnt get the transplant, i retracted my bids on the turbo hf engine, way too much mods ive been told!!!
So got a uno mk1 momo steering wheel to go on instead, makes it look faster..was told these are arbarth ones but not too sure??

Thanks for that.....If this works you should all see my car being cleaned and some rather dark pics of the show itself - sorry my cheap digital camera couldn't handle the lighting.

Dazzo - glad to hear you are leaving George as standard. As to the Momo wheel - I think there is any direct connection to Abarth other than the wheel is/was a poular fir to any performance Fiat.

If I was as keen as you I think I would make a Sedici my next purchase while there are a few good ones still around. Keeping George as the daily driver and a Sedici as "something for the weekend" could be a good solution. I know I am an old git but my car is insured for 3000miles p/a including bus use with agreed value of £2000 for only £171 with adrian flux - it all makes sense then!!! Cheers MIKE

hi mike,
yes i am on the look for a sedi as my next purchase, but its gotta be a good one thats for sure, Is yours up for grabs, lol ...The actual insurance was not that bad for my last sedi at 300.00 a year and 1500.00 value,im 33yrs with 2yrs ncd, that was fully comp too,
Yes to keep George as a main driver makes sense really as he does an average of 120-130 mile on 10.00 worth of petrol so thats good, gotta service him soon,The one i got today is 1 owner on a M Plate,FFSH, burgundy,145k, off of Flea Bay for 65.00 with T&T, non runner though!!
will look and see whats wrong 2moz....

Mike.
See your Tipo is still lovely!(y) Couldn't make it this year to show[was on another stand for 3 days last year].
Notice my old 124 Sport was on the stand(y) Still looking gorgerous.

In reply to the last 2 posts.....Thanks for your kind coments Andy. Yes the 124 was superb and for sale - I was almost tempted! I guess by "other club" you mean Sporting Fiats - they had a really good stand last year.

Dazzo - glad to hear you are "going Sedici" next time. Funnily enough my car would be for sale for the right money. I don't want to sell it but Stephanie and I have been looking seriously at another vehicle purchase as with the kids grown up we are looking to travel. (Yes we are looking at a camper!!!) We will still have another 3 Fiats left!

Cheers MIKE

Mike.
The 124 had a lot of graft put into it and had been in a heated garage for 10 years. I was sad to see it go but i had no time to look after it anymore. Those cars need a fantastic amount of TLC to keep them in top shape.
Yeah. Sporting Fiats. I was knackered after 3 days on my legs at NEC. No stand this year as Martin had no time. I did suggest last year that this year we could do an Abarth stand and he agreed. Pity it never happened. Next year i will make an effort to sort a stand.
