Technical Sedici Turbo Problem

I recently had some problems with the turbo on my Sedici Eleganza 1.9 diesel, the unit was removed and sent for testing at a specialist centre who said that it was OK. After re-installation I now experience problems with the engines performance at low speed, in particular a reluctance to accelerate from stationary which is usually accompanied by the engine intermittently loosing power causing the car to judder. Once this stage has been passed the turbo performs perfectly and provides perfect acceleration.
The garage are struggling to resolve this problem has anyone any suggestions as to what the cause of the problem may be?

Hi I think EGR aswell why dont you block it off to see if that makes it run better.

was this fault accompanied by the yellow engine management light being illuminated.
