on the inside of your folder there's a detachable part you can stick to the outside of the folder, or vice versa depending how they gave it to you

I have the Fiat ipod kit and the ipod is meant to sit in this pocket - they give you a little bit of pad in the kit to stop it rattling round on the hard plastic.

Thanks for letting everyone know Mark, now I'll have to keep mine in the underseat storage (which I have as I didn't specify leather or interscope).

This is so you can put the folder in the boot of the car, the velcro sticks to the side of the boot lining, it's quite a good idea seeing as there's limited space in the glove compartment

If you nip to one of the few remaining haberdashery shops you can buy self adhesive velcro, then you can also stick the wheel nut kit in the boot as well...mind, if you carry on with this it does meant that the weekly shop at sainsbury's has to sit on the back seat!!!

If you have a look at the parcel shelf and run your hands along the upper edge, you will feel a cut out, which is actually a flimsy latch mechanism, hey presto the 'secret' compartment falls down. Just don't tell anybody!

i thought you were all on about the one under the dash,
my doc wallet is velcro'd under the passenger seat, the removeable bit fits in the "secret" compartment... i think... ill try it later..

Sorry for any confusion, I was referring to the parcel shelf ahead of the passenger seat.

I keep my spare wheel and jack in the 'secret compartment' in the boot. LOL

Well I got my car today, have found the secret compartment in the glovebox, and under the seat. The one under the seat has been most useful so far, the glovebox one is too thin to really fit anything in!

just a note to people who are maybe just deciding on a spec or ordering a 500 if you order FULL leather or the INTERSCOPE sound system you will lose the underseat storage
