To me tuning a 900 is just silliness unless its to meet some regs in some racing series.
Or you're just bored

I'm with Brooky on this, best bang for buck at this kinda level is a 1242 swap.
But why 1242 and not a 1368 16v?
A bit more work from what I get but should be worth it.
Going to swap 1242 to 1368 on mine probably. With a 6 speed gearbox it should be a lot better.
T-jet is probably quite a bit more.
Where would i find the parts? Like biggest tb and mechanical rocker arms? I have a cold air intake, straight through exhaust, and skimmed head, although not surehow skimmed, and also would remapping it do much?

Why can't you use the inlet, loom and ECU from same donor car? I get that the TB is different but are the other bits needed because of drive-by-wire too?I didnt say a 1368 because to do that you either need the engine from one car and the inlet and throttle body and some bits off a different car, ideally an early 16v loom not from the donor engine car, same goes for ecu. If you dont want to do that then you are converting the cento the fly by wire - totally doable of course but more faff and more money..
Hi, where are you based? I have some parts to sell, would need to go through them but I have mcCrich(?) chip in ECU, Supersprint rear pipe/box (alumised, not full stainless), 40mm (32mm?) throttle body (I think I still have it), intake kit. Some suspension struts (not sure if you've done shocks or just springs?)
I'm Milton Keynes based.
