Technical seat belts

hi all, the seat belts on the multipla are playing up, the drivers and the rear left seat belts pull out but dont go back in again there just flopped on the seat looking sorry for them selfs, any ideas as to how i can get them back and doing there jobs properly.

HI hxsimon,
They go back into the holder under spring tension.............. are they under tension when pulled out ?
or is there 'no effort' required to pull them out?
some can be stripped..it may be accumilation of dirt or wet stopping them from working , or the spring gone.
you may need to replace if the spring has gone as these are an 'M O T' item.

the back one has no tention it pulls out and stays out, the front one pulls over the person but only goes back half way. How do i replace the spring or ist it a whole seat belt job.

the plastic covers should be able to come off, but I believe the metal section of the unit is not user repairable. [ie replace spring]

thanks for that booklady, ill strip the plastic of this weekend and have a fiddle with them and if there bust ill check out your website, were also looking for a fan (behind the radiator) so having a multi breaker on here is all good so yes please on sending me the website, and it might be a good idea on getting your site on a sticky on here if thats possable
