Is there any way to adjust my seat belt so it goes back in to place...or is it a tired part that needs replacement?.....just found half the seat belt hanging out the door soaking wet:yuck:

Re: Seat belt reoil

would greatly help me to know this. i dont even bother anymore just lob it on the seat behind me and make sure its tight to me when i get back in lol. stupid overused springs or whatever it is

There doesn't seem a lot you can do. Try pulling it out all the way, vacuming the housing, maybe a few drops of lubricant, and making sure it goes back straight and true. I'd not disassemble it, especially if it's one of the pyrotechnic ones designed to autotension in the case of an accident.

You can probably get new ones, at a price.

In the two seis I own, the front belts do that unless you give them a tug when straight. one of the seis I own almost from new
