Rather than go the 'traditional' inertial reel belt setup, I've decided to get some more 'period correct' lap belts. I don't like the low angle for the shoulder harness and, let's be honest, these are more to keep you secure while driving, not in a crash where there's no crumple zones and you've got a fuel tank in your lap.
I'm going with a set of 3" lap belts with 'duck bill' latches that were the norm in 60's race cars and provide a pretty decent hold.
Does anyone know the bolt sizes (and threads?) for both the floor and shoulder attachment points? I'll likely pickup new hardware, but need to search for a cap of sorts for the shoulder point, so I'm not left with an unfinished bolt hole.
Thanks!
