Se c905

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help.
I am getting fed up of waiting for my new car so thought I'd spend the time getting ready for it to arrive.
I read somewhere on here that the SE C905 didn't work well with B&M but there were updates etc that could improve it.
Can anyone tell me in simple terms what I need to do and if anyone has any positive experiences with this phone?

Hi,

I've got the SE C905 and it worked straight out of the box on my 500, with no updates required.

Although a few days ago my wife did try and ring me whilst I was driving and the blue&me system wouldn't let me answer the phone - that's the first time ever, so I may just delete and re-pair the two and see if this helps if it persists. I can call out no bother, as I phoned the wife straight back.

The only thing that doesn't work, AFAIK is the ringtone is the standard blue&me one, not the one set up on the phone being broadcast through the car audio system.

That's great news, I was a bit worried I'd have to change my phone. Mine was one of the first sold so the software is a bit out of date but easy to fix I think.

I've just purchased a 500 and my SE C905 paired with the blue and me no problems, everything worked fine except i'm unable to answer incoming calls. I believe the problem to be the phone isn't compatible and i need to update the blue and me or the phones firmware???

Does anyone know any solution to this problem or of an update for the blue and me.

Sounds like you need the SE B&M update. At the same time B&M 5.4 was released, there was an SE update. That fixed mine.
