hello all I have just got a fiat scudo x reg 1.9d el van it starts up every turn of the key but stalls after about 100 yds, turn it off and it starts up fine ticks over no problem but stalls when you move off, never had a fiat before so all new to me, what does the EL stand for, is there a manual available for these, a guy came today to do a code reading but his unit would not mate up with the ecu unit so at the moment I am in the dark until he comes back hope you guys here can give me some pointers as to what to look at cheers

plenty of things it could be,
any idea of last service details,
a blocked fuel filter could do this,
the fault code is a great place to start though, as it'll give SOME idea where to start..,

hi guys fitted a new fuel filter bleed the air out and all seems to be ok had it on 4/5 short runs all OK, why would it course so much trouble as the speedo was jumping from 10 to 30 then 50 and back and to, will still have to find out why the guys code reader would not connect as this will give me grief in the time to come so lets hope all is OK cheers guys
I would ckeck the earth points under the bonnet. Glad you managed to restote the fuel supply ok. Charlie
