Technical Screwdriver lock hack

I have read on several forum threads that is VERY easy to break into a Fiat Ducato by punching a screwdriver just below the door lock. People are fitting pro-plates (either fake or genuine) to get around the problem. Does anyone know if this is still an issue on 2025 models or have Fiat fixed this on newer models?

i fitted a plate to my 2025 bought from ebay these plates are very good as they prevented a break in on our 2009 burstner c 600 city car while on an aire in France during the night

You can get 'proplates' very cheaply on Temu now (unfortunately)
