Many contrary points were made, by myself and many others, some more intelligent and better researched than the rest. The thread had begun to descend into mud slinging (much like the kind you exhibit here) when certain individuals were incapable of reasoned argument. All points had been made and the thread was going nowhere. Hence the lock.

Can you point out any examples? It is not about me, or any of the other moderators, disagreeing with yours or anybody else's views. The thread was locked because it had run its course and to prevent it falling into the **** fest these things normally do. Everyone had plenty of time and opportunity to chip in.

If you had read and understood the final statement, it said that if anyone had a problem with this locking, to contact any of the moderators via email, off the forum.
