It was with a sad heart last week that I said goodby to a reliable friend in my alfa 156 2.0 TS. It had served me well for 9 years, but I was having to dig too deep for repairs and there comes a time......well you know enough is enough.
I looked around and the alfa's replacement is a 58 plate Bravo 150 M-Jet Sport. :). I thought that at first it might have been a downgrade, but I'm not so sure. Performance is the alfa equal with twice the economy. Lots of new toys to get used to so we will see how it goes. Does anybody know is an HTC Wildfire compatable with blueandme as its not on Fiat's list, or have I got to have a new phone to.

Hello xalfa. We have one of each, effectively one FIAT and one Alfa, ironically a 156 2.0 Veloce. Mind you I drive the Panda MJ Diesel and Mrs. Beard has the Alfa, the main reason being that I drive around 30 miles a day, and she drives 6 so from an economical point of view I drive the Panda, 58 mpg is better than 28 - 30 from the Alfa.

Anyway, welcome to the Forum and I will apologise in advance for whatever rambling posts I put up that you will have to endure.

After a week even with the snow I am rapidly becoming a Bravo fan, what grunt from the 1.9JTD (but it did come from AR in the first place)
The car itself has a MF plate which I belive comes from your neck of the woods Mr Beard, so a further connection.

good to see another ex 156 owner with a Bravo

i used to have a Sportwagon JTD 2.4 Veloce and the Bravo reminds me of it in lots of ways, superior in lots of ways too

i think you will really love the Bravo the more you use it, they are a massively underrrated car
