Saxo VTR's

Introduction

The boyfriend's Posi blue Saxo VTR and mates new standard red Saxo VTR :)

Thoughts? :p
The only way people like them is because saxo's are similar to R'n'b music...

If you follow the crowd music wise. You normally do the same car wise.
There for people that can't think for their self.

I have to agree with you there, I just think they are boring and far too common. Saying that if somebody with taste mods one they can look quite good, but most of them are disastrous to look at (n)

True, see i'd love to look at a saxo that's been euro looked just like Atticus's Punto Mk2b... But most the chavs modify their saxo to look like eachothers :bang: Typical lexus lights, angel lights, lowered to the floor and a massive bin as an exhaust.

You forgot the cheapo induction kit that makes it sound like an elephant being molested ;)

Could be worse, could be a Corsa :p

If done right they can look pretty decent in my opinion. As some have already said, many aren't modified very nicely with hideous Lexus lights on the back and such. The one's pictured though aren't too bad - going the right way pretty much.

I've driven a modded 106 a fair few times and a few standard Saxos and they're brilliant cars to drive. It's probably why many do get crashed as the drivers run out of grip and talent at higher speeds than worse handling cars

In terms of visual mods - debadge, smooth/relocate rear plate, get the rear beam sorted, maybe a VTS roof spoiler, then maybe pop on a nice set of OZ or Team Dynamics light weight alloys (probably 15" would be best) and then pretty much leave it at that. Doesn't need any big wings or anything fancy and certainly no damned Lexus rear lights :D

Could do some performance stuff as well as I'm sure there's a fair few things for the VTR kicking about :)

my mate has a saxo which he has done very nicely a black and cream colour scheme, one of the very few that i do really like

i don't have a problem with them except SOME of the people that tend to drive them

Generally I agree with you, not sure about OZ wheels on a saxo though ( they are for nicer cars ;))

:)

Thanks for that, they both HATE the lexus lights (them silver ones right?) and I've kinda helped with the stylings...

I know some people don't like them but each to their own ehyy?.. that's why people have certain cars; they obviously like them! :)

Thanks for the comments though everyone :p

get it looking like this and i think your onto a winner (y)

No offence but that looks like someone's done a shiney poo on it haha

I don't like the colour at all, style's not too bad though.. but wrong kind of car for Euro style imo?

I've seen Euro style Lupo's and Polo's that look good, Atticus's Mk2/Mk2b is okay too but again a similar bronzey colour, seems to be a popular colour in Euro style??

They don't want to go for that kind of look anyway; they sort of know what they want them to look like, all ideas are appreciated though :)

Thanks

I saw a hideous maroon fiesta with lexus lights, so bad I took a photo.
Not to my knowledge there was actually someone sitting in the car, he got out and I said "nice car"

I'll put the pic up so you can see how bad it was, after I finish work.
