Safety limit on reving

I know with the 16v you have to rev it to let it fly got a 1.6 100 HLX but doesn't reving the ******** out of it all the time going to have knock on effects or is the engine designed to cope with this

ive got the same but the trofeo nothing seems to happen till 4500 not sure if it needs tuning or not??
i get about 320 miles to full tank is this average?

The engine is designed to run that way. They set the rev limit such that the engine won't sustain damage.

what about low revs I find it struggles in low revs especially in 3rd and i want to get up a hill seems to think fook u go at me own pace and will go when i want. aswel sometimes in first it drops revs when you pull off not all the time though. 320 miles seems fair to me I get a little less. What you been up to tonight Tom

ive had the car about 6 months and still love the sound it makes when drop it to second and welly it... goes well for 1.6 aswell.

1.6 16v S reg mk2
Usualy get 300miles from full tank (£30) and being a revvy engine it doesn't show it's true colours till after 3500rpm

Fraped? you mean you have to put the pedal to the floor then yes if you need to.
