Rust!!!

While washing the car today I spoted this on the rear drivers wing:

I know its small, but it could get worse.

Does anyone know if this is covered under any warranty?

Its a 1996 1.8HLX.

The body warranty on your car ran out in 2001. I'd be tempted to leave it for a while and see if it gets any worse, the body shell is galvanised so in theory it won't spread.

Doh, ok. I was looking at getting a full respray when i got the abarth kit anyway. The previous owner wasnt the kindest to it, lots of bumps and scratches.

A would agree to leave it...if it was on a wheel arch or another edge, i would get it done, but i wouldnt bother in the middle of a panel...

The danger of getting it fixed is you have to remove the galvanising from the surrounding metal and that opens you up to more rust.
