Technical Rust on edge wheel arch - how to fix?

Need some thoughts on how to fix this rust:

The inner side of the front wheel arch has a little dent, which cracked the paint. Rust started to form in this crack, and now the paint has gone a bit.

Should i try to fix this myself? (Bend the dent back, sand the paint and rust, applying rust converter, primer, paint ?)

do a smart style repair

So yes sand the affected area back
Treat for rust
Then mask up
One word of advice is dont lay the tape flat, lay it so the edge nearest to the rust/dent is up
This prevents a spray line been formed, and can help mask the it in

it'd be well worth while checking the otherside too, as if rust is on both sides, attack it now and save yourself hassel in the future
