Technical Running a little warm

Hello everyone and what a forum....

Anyhow i have just aquired a Punto Gt, £1500 notes with F.S.H....nice....

I was drving it back from Brighton today and it seemed to be running a little hot, the needle was just above halfway........

Now i checked the water and the usual stuff and there was no water loss whatsoever and the engine didnt seem to hot either.

Please help........

i got a GT and it runs just slightly above the half way line so i dnt think ahve to worry cvos i have no problems with mine

Wouldnt that make the fan go all the time? My fan starts just under halfwaymark. Or does the fan start at a higher temprature on the GTs? I have a "normal" mk1.

Yeah mine runs about 3/4 on the temp gauge and thats when the fan kicks in......

if you haven't heard ur fan go off yet then either ur ears are going a little funny on you or it's not working, it sounds like a jet engine when the fan kicks in, mine also doesn't come in till just under 3/4

Punto GT Turbo, forge dump valve, samco hose kit, pace intercooler, k&n induction kit, s/s exhaust, bleed valve, superchip, running 15lb boost!

Excellent, my fan kicks in just before 3/4 and it sounds like a jet engine.......take it its normal then, cheers speedy
