General Rumble when engine breaking in 2nd gear

Why is it when i engine brake in 2nd gear i get a rumble. I dont get it when i engine brake in other gears and had a new clutch put in 9,000 miles ago. Is this normal?

Poss its the rear box/engine mount... does it also "clunk" when lifting off quickly..

that is what engine braking is.. so yeah i guess thats what he means!

Well i had the nct and it passed and after that the clutch cable went and a plastic quadrant snapped now they put a new quadrant on and a cable and it dont rumble in 2nd gear any more when i engine brake so must of been that
