I have looked long and hard at the available products. SOme cheap brands dont quote the right lift force and even vary from the OEM length. SOme had fittings I didnt like the look of and some had a sort of sleeve end at the top of the cylinder and being OCD I couldnt deal with that! SO I decided to go monro as per dampers at some cost £34 + +
I ordered from Autodoc but got a message saying they wouldnt dispatch until they had the money afterwards, providing their bank details to pay. Assuming either the purchase had failed, or Id used the wrong payment method, I checked paypal and they already had the money. This sort of crap comms (or misleading information) annoys me so I cancelled and bought them somewhere else. There are a lot of not very good copies on eBay with odd looking packaging. Im super wary of fake stuff so avoided eBay altogether. Only UK suppliers with a proper looking business address and arating of 99% considered.
