Theres 1 In The Footwells Apparently Can Anyone Give Me An Idea Where Or Any Pics? Im Installing A Friends Wires For His Sub & Would Like To Kno Where It Is As I Ran Mine Through The Door Down The Arch To The Battery.

There is one under the carpet in the passenger footwell but I don't know where it comes out on the engine bay. I installed my amp last night and ran the power cable through a gromet just under the wndscreen. If you undo about 5 screws that holds the black plastic under the windscreen on the passenger side and there is a black rubber bung there with no wires going through. if you pull it out then feed the cable through it then re insert it. The cable will then drop down from behind the dash. If you have any probs finding the cable then remove the fuse cover from inside the glovebox and you should be able to see it. I have not got pics cos got no camera but it was quite simple to do.

Hope this helps

Nooooooooo, dont do that one.

There is one smack bang in the centro behind the carpet on the passeger side footwell. Pull the carpet back and you cant miss it!! Its about the size of a cricket ball with the wires running to the national grid going throug the centre of it

Because you dont have to take the black plastic from under the windscreen to do the massive one. Its that big you can drill a hole in the grommet with no problems and ensure that your seal is tight around your cable.

Really easy to do

i had trouble with supplying power to my sub as well.

so i ran the power cable down the brake lines on the passenger side of the car. attached via zip ties. then run the line up above the heat shield for the exshaust near the rear wheel, i used some metal flexi pipe to surround this part os the power cable.(i used the metal felxi pipe that you find around cables near the exshaust manifold)

i drilled a hole under the rear seat on the passengers side of the car and brought the power cable into the car through there *(MAKE SURE YOU INSERT A GOOD GROMET THEN YOU WONT GET ANY WATER LEAKS)* you should'nt anyway due to the exshaust heat.(a bit on silicon dose'nt go a mis either here)

once in the car its fairly simple.

i have had no problems with this setup its been running for two years now.

just make sure that you use plenty of zip ties at regular interfulls.

Thats Far To Complicated For My Simple Brain Lol! Need sumthin Less Difficult!

Pull back carpet in passenger footwell to locate grommet the size of a cricket ball.
Drill a small hole in the grommet being careful not to touch the existing wires.
Pop bonnet and pull back soundproofing carpet at back of engine bay
Push wire thru grommet from the inside of the car. Ask a mate to keep an eye in the egine bay for the cable. When spotted, pull.
Attach fuse holder to be located less than 50cm to the +ve battery terminal BUT DO NOT CONNECT TO BATTERY YET
Get back in the car, we now need to run the cable to the boot.
Remove the screws for the plastic runner on the passenger door, then CAREFULLY prise up. Everybody ends up snapping them - dont worry £12 from Fiat
Run your cable underneath this strip and replace. If you follow it under the plastic all the way you cable should now be under the rear seat and easily passed to the boot.
Put your amp in and attach all cables. But not your +ve to the battery yet.
Remove -ve battery terminal
Attach live to +ve terminal then pu the -ve back on.

You should be up and running

Re: Untitled

i also put mine under the car. followed the brake lines from the battery across the back of the engine bay and down under the car. there are spare clips all the way along the underside of the car which just so happen to be the same size as 4 gauge cable. i then cut up and over the fuel tank. there is then a rubber bung in the floor of the boot with a couple of wires in it, i came in through here.

just another alternative!

Re: Untitled

Wimmy,

Was only 4 screws to lift the plastic trim by the wipers. 5 min jon and only needed one person. HGT engine bay to full to remove sound proofing etc.
