General Rubber gaiter replacement

Hi guys where can I get one of these? What is it?

Loads of places, depends if its the up/down or left/right. Just do a search for punto gear linkage. All the ones I saw didn't have a gaitor, unless they were for a Grande Punto! You could possibly get just a gaitor. I tried to look on ePER but it would'nt open the page

I've had a quick look myself and gaiters are like rocking horse **** on the moon!
I assume if they're not supplied with most cables they're not required but wouldn't think getting dust and dirt into the mechanism is a good thing? I still have 2 halves. Might Bodge with something to keep the crap out. What though I don't know!

It is frustrating that there is nothing that will fit that linkage. I looked at ones for the MG but they seem too small.


I put a bicycle tube on mine which worked ok until it degraded and filled the cable with solidifying rubber!


Putting a few drops of oil on a long screwdriver is the way I am currently dealing with this problem. I need to upgrade to a paint brush on a stick to make it easier.

for models FIAT - 1N PUNTO BZ (1999-2003)

FIAT - 2U PUNTO FL.'03 (2003-2010)
plus i have loads new old stock fiat parts, shipping to the UK from Ireland I'm having no problems, but to Europe just now, it's all getting stuck in Heathrow airport.
