I need to route a power cable from the car battery into the cabin. This is for a radio transceiver that will be mounted somewhere on the driver's side, possibly in the rack above the drivers position. It has to be from the battery, rather than the fuse box, for technical reasons (don't worry, it will of course be fused). Does anyone know what the best/easiest options for routing are. I don't want to have to remove the dash if I can help it.

Bingo! Found a wide rubber hose going out from the footwell (under the top of the carpet) into the bay. Managed to squeeze the cables out along side it and out into the bay. Job done. Thanks Custard!
