Technical rough idle possible fixes

Hi there, I have a rough idle on cold. Besides a problem with the accessory belt slipping occasionally, everything else seems fine.<br />
<br />
I've heard checking/cleaning the MAP, MAF, EGR and some kind of valve? are wise. Could someone explain how? The lack of repair manuals is frustrating.

Its got a DPF soot trap

Are all the settings for this in order?

What do you mean in order? There wasn't a fault code related to DPF from Kwik fit. I'm waiting on a fault code reader coming before I know more.

When its had an oil change..
There is a whole lot of technical setting to check..
Unfortunately a lot of general garages dont have the kit to do this properly..

Or it will have problems with regenerations ( dpf self cleans)

Not a direct motor issue
