Saw in the paper today that anyone with a Marea 20v registered after March 2001 will get clobbered for £400 plus tax....can't be many that "new" but time to sell methinks!

I can think of atleast one. 
Atleast it's only once a year. Drop in insurance with my NCB and maturing a little in my driving habits will improve my MPG should help offset it a little.

Why is a 2lt family car being clobbered as much as 4l truck that's mainly used for the school run.
Most of the folk I see with a Chelsea Tractor can easily afford the £400 anyhow, but then again there are more people driving reasonable family cars than trucks so goverment will generate more cash.
