Hello all - I am the very lucky owner of a new fiat 500 Riva hatchback which I am calling my forever car. Only had it a few days and already love it to bits, but I am no stranger to 500s or fiats. The Riva is my 5th 500 and before that I have had a punto and a uno. My hubby is also a big fiat fan and currently owns a 500L but has also had 2 puntos.

I'm picking up a riva hatchback in a couple of weeks and am really looking forward to it. It will be my 3rd 500 but I've also had a Fiat 126 and a Fiat 127 in the past. I will be sorry to see my currrent 500 (lounge in countrypolitan yellow with the black handprint stickers on it) go as it has been great. I feel the riva will be a more sophisticated look though!
Lucky you! I would've probably gone for one had I not already (factory spec) ordered my car shortly before details of the Riva were released! When you get a chance could you post a few day light pics for us?
Yes, it definitely feels sophisticated - unlike it's driver!

It's beautiful! I see what you mean about the seats - I have tobacco brown leather and they are proving to be a bugger to keep clean - colour seems to transfer from my jeans or black trousers! I've been thinking about sitting on a towel or blanket or something, but that defeats the purpose really.

Did your Riva come with the personalised engraved name plate between the front seats?
No, sadly that was only available for the first 500 Riva's sold. Guessing that as they are so beautiful Fiat will have sold a lot more than 500......
