I have the Meguiars micro-fibre DA system, just has 2 different pads, one for the polishing compound and another for the finishing wax. Very easy to use and gets very good results.

Oh yea very, it so easy to use, is very light and is pretty cheap. A mate of mine used it on one panel of his car and is now going to buy is own one.

I got mine from cleanyourcar.co.uk but any detailing website will stock it.

If your buying the machine from there you may as well stick that in the order too, if you can cope with it not being blue.

For the purpose of keeping the trims polish free yea but might not agree with the paint so much. Id stick to the 3M tape to be safe.

I'd be a bit cautious round isolated spots near Peterborough, after recent finds of bodies in ditches, you might get your collar felt!

Little overdue update, I had the dreaded DPF problem, clogged up and beyond a force re-gen. Had it re-mapped and DPF-less for nearly 2 weeks now and is spot on, didn't go for a full power re-map as I like my gearbox and DMF in one piece but still gained a lot of power and torque and averaging 66mpg on this tank so far over 200 miles.
