An odd one

2005 panda 4x4 (I have three 4x4s and a 1.1 eco)

When I change gear, the revs don't drop when I lift off the gas, or at least they don't drop in quickly.

It's totally driveable but revs take too long to fall / drop

Also, the accelerator pedal travels a bit before revs increase.

No error codes.

Any ideas?

Don't just spray inside with throttle cleaner, as per many YouTube videos

The throttle bodes on the 4x4 are normally fairly unique and rare to get hold of, read expensive, assuming it's flyby wire

In the unlikely event of positive pressure from a misfire it will be forced into the position sensor, and eventually causing it to fail months down the line

It's better to spray sparingly onto a cloth and transfer to the throttle body

Is there any stickyness or slack in the pedal when you take foot off? Given your comment about the play in the pedal I'd be checking that movement of the pedal is being accurately transferred to the throttle position sensor (potentiometer) assuming it's fly by wire. The mech might need lube or could be worn.
