RE

I had that problem a while ago, it did it for a few days and then just stopped. I think its just where somthing its getting stuck in side.

Im not particualrly savy when it comes to car mechanics so i have no idea what it exactly is!

As for the hand brake thing - anit got a clue!

what do you think is gettin stuck mate? and do you know where abouts its gettin stuck? it happens now and again.. happens sometimes and the handbrake thing i dont know whats up with that the light shows when I put my foot on the gas. dont know wants wrong with my car but its really gettin to me!! had too much problems with it now!

thanks for your reply mate

Can't help with the revolutions but with regards to handbrake light...

Is it the handbrake light or brake wear pad indicator? Brava/os have 2 warning bulbs for the braking system.

Assuming its your handbrake light on, chances are your brake fluid is low.

If its the brake pad wear indicator on, then well... thats kind of obvious :)

All dashboard symbols with explanations are in your owners handbook. I would advise checking fluid levels before using the car any more.

itll be alrite Insy, my breaks are still flashing away after the balst down yours!

nah, check with the handbook re the breaks, probs just a pad change needed.

re the revs, could be alot of diff things

well i just changed the brake pads and disc so it cant be that.. so i think it its liquid level then i will check that thanks.

What light is it from this list

Also, like Andy said the rev problem can be lot of things, but it may start from the idle control valve getting stick in one place, or the magnetic coil of it aint working right. Bt this is just a guess for now.

Number 8 first row ???? - the description is under the pic, so if that is the case, I would also check my clutch slave cylinder for leaks.

Or nuber 8 by GT model ? considering you have a HLX what is the same

I changed my pads Keval and a while later the light came on, I just disconnected the sensor wire. Must hve been earthing cos it put the light out

The sensor works that way, when the pad gets used to the point where the wire goes in the pad, the wire connects to the disc, that way connects to the earth and lights up the signal light. But in this case its not the used pads light, that one is number 9 on the first row

yes i remember when that number 9 light came on.. i changed the pads then and that was fine after that.. in this case i think its the brake fluid.. thanks for all your help and replys:)
