rev counter gives up the ghost!

:bang: Hello, I`m new on here, I wonder if anyone has experienced this problem? as the engine gets up to temp on our Marea weekend, the rev counter stops working! not a world shattering fault I know, but a very annoying one,any clues people?

ello, beleive thats a little sensor by the injectors, should be a simple job (i'm assuming its a 20v)

Hmmm! thanks for that clue, I`ll have a pry around in the gubbins this weekend and get back to you.
