Hi all, I'm a newbie from New Zealand. I've recently purchased a 2007 Fiat Ducato 2.3 camper. There's a small retro fitted led light on the dash that comes on with a buzzer when I'm sitting at traffic lights with the couch depressed and in gear, if I take it out of gear it stops. It won't do it straight away only after a minute or so, has anyone got any ideas what this is and what it's for ? Thanks for any help, Peter.

Presumably to stop you cooking the slave cylinder and wearing the bearing and pressure plate a minute is a long time to hold the clutch.

I think someones put it in to stop riding the clutch from MY experience (not fiats rhetoric) the clutch torsional springs are the issue so when your riding the clutch your loading up the springs in my mind the springs are too big for the clutch plate hence why ive changed to a Borg and beck unit the throwout bearing is connected to the slave cylinder so there is no give in the system hence why they say its self adjusting unlike the old holdens and fords you have over there Cheers Adam
