I have recently bought a Marea but it did not have a manual/handbook. I have tried every combination of buttons that I can think of to reset the clock but it stays resolutely at GMT+ 3 minutes. How do I reset it?

I have a similar provlem with the radio stations (Saga FM is not my favorite) - any suggestions?

Hi and welcome to the forum :)

What type of radio do you have, CD or not?

Radio channels is simple, select the channel you want and then keep the button number you want to store it on pressed until it starts playing again, it is then stored on that button.

There should be a clock symbol on one of the buttons. Push this until the colon between the time figures stops flashing, you may see M1 or M2 depending on radio, then adjust the time using the buttons indicated with H+, H-, M+, M- to get the right time. Press the clock symbol again to start the clock.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for this. The radio is sorted but the clock still eludes me. The car is a 3 year old Marea 100SX saloon with (I think) a Grundig radio cassette. I have had a Sony looky-likey CD changer fitted in the boot which works fine except that I do not get any CD text on the display on the dashboard. Should this happen or am I asking too much?

I have searched the buttond many times for anything that looks remotely like a clock icon but can not see anything. There are h+,h-,m+ and m- buttons (I guess) to adjust the hours and minutes but no set/reset button. Any further suggestions?

Hi

My car is Marea SX100 too. I don't need to set the time. It changed automatically when day light saving time applied. I think it's radio controlled. No buttons seen to set time.

On the 'M' version with 6 buttons along the bottom (3+3) the clock button is the last one on the right. On the 'H' version with 8 buttons (4+4) along the bottom it is the 4th one from the left.

e.g.

'M' ***_**@ 'H' ***@_****

My Marea has the standard stereo and has the same problem...............GMT+3 minutes out.
I play the radio all the way to work every morning - 45 minutes there and 45 minutes home and it has never reset itself.
Have never seen anything resembling a clock icon either and have pressed avery button in every combination imaginable.

Found the answer, I hadn't been pressing any of the buttons for long enough.
This is from the handbook for the standard radio (AD 182M)

Press EXP button for about 3 secs.(Mine took at least 10 secs)
Scroll to clock with the arrows.
Set time with H and M buttons.
Press EXP briefly to start clock.
Synchronise the time by RDS.
Press button 5 for sync on or off.
Press EXP to return to normal

Hi,

I have a fiat brava 1999. My manufacture stereo is a casette version ( ad 182M ). Are there any CD changers that match my stereo as I don't want to change my stereo as it ruins the dashboard as I like the way it was designed!

Please help!!

Thanks and Regards,
Roderick.
