After changing the rear dampers I decided to have a closer look at the front of the car.

I found a grease deposit on the left ball joint and after examining it I found it has split so I'm changing them both tomorrow. Not possible to see the split when it's compressed.

How do the other bushes on the wishbones look? Are they worn? I'm going to replace with two new wishbones anyway.

I want to replace the anti roll bar bushes as well but can only source the front ones. The centre ones seem to only be stocked by shopforparts and I want to get them tomorrow and do it all in one go. Does anyone know where I could get the centre ones other than shopforparts?

If the arb has slop or play in them then replace
But tbh i hardly hear anybody replacing them
The bolts tend to seize and rot in the wishbone making arb a bitch to remove

Also u can buy just boots and reboot the ball joint if its not playful :)
Save ££

Also is it me or can i see a split in that cv gaiter?

If the wishbones aint playful then leave em alone - personally i would
Sure replacement aint bad

I can't really tell if the ARB has play. I tried moving it today but didn't give it much force as I was lying under it and didn't want to take the risk of it falling on me.

So the bushes on the wishbone look ok or normal to you? Like I said in my last post I'm not an expert and the condition of them looked very bad to me.

The car pulls left and the broken ball joint boot is on the left. So if the worst of the ARB bushes. There doesn't seem to be any play in the ball joint when jacked up and I rock the wheel.

I didn't notice a split in the gaitor when I was under it today but now that you mention it I can see a possible tear in the picture. I'll have a closer look tomorrow.
