Just a quick tip...

Replacement rear wiper blades for the MultiWagon can be a bit pricey - they have a custom plastic frame - but you can do it cheaply - just get a pair of cheap wipers from a pound shop (Poundland, Pound World etc)- the cheap ones usually have a plastic strip with the rubber blade embedded in it, rather than the more expensive blades, which are usually solid rubber with metal strips stiffening them. So if you get a cheap pair, just slide out the existing rubber from the plastic frame, and cut the new blade with a hacksaw and slide it in - it will be a snug it but will go it with some gentle force. The frame has a lip at either end to stop the blade slipping out.,

I did this at the weekend, albeit for a Micra - it has a shaped rear wiper thats dealer only I think.

The local motor factors had blade refils in a bucket for a couple of squid, no frame just the blade - pull the old one out and cut the new to length and slide in.
Job done - cushty...

And say hello to your very own brand new blade scratches. The plastic in those cheapo ones often scratch from the off or will do after a month or so. I think the one i got from fleabay was like £7.

i agree, i had used the generic refils you can get for about £5 from auto factors and whilst they worked just the did have a tendacy to leave marks on the windows.
i also payed £7 inc of ebay for our replacements and they are terrific, i wont bother re filling from now on when the blade goes i will just get a new one from ebay...

Well my "proper" blade that cost a tenner or so was streaky from the start and lasted about 8 months before it began to split. I'll see how long half of my £1 pack lasts.

I have been wondering about getting the longer wipers out the bin and cutting it down for the back, thats a proper wiper.
