Styling Replacing foglights with round drl punto mk2b?

First post!! Just wondering if anyone with a fiat punto mk2b has ever tried fitting round drl's into the holes where the old fog lights on an active sport front bumper go? I am planning on attempting this and was wondering if you could completely remove the fog light and some how attach the drl's where they used to be and wire up? Thanks

these are the drl's they are 7cm 2.75 inch!

cant imagine it should be difficult
the grilles do come out
might be wise to use a small selftapper to keep them in place when you replace them so they dont fall out
see if your new lights can fit in front of old ones first would be my quick thought

no idea how to wire them for dsylight running automatically though but i know you can buy a box of tricks to do it with

are your lights type approved in case capt beeky gets a snot on

first hit on ebay shows it listed by eurocarparts

all lights for road use should have type approval,most imported aftermarket stuff doesnt have this so its possible you could be done unlikely but we live in strange times

Thanks i will get that purchased soon! Going to hook them up to my sidelights and see how that goes!

Relay it using ur sidelights
Dont feed them from the side lights. You may find you start popping fuses and melting wires. Which is a pain to fix
