Hey guys, i've finally passed my driving test and am now the proud owner of a 2003 Fiat Active Punto mk2B :D
I now want to start doing the odd mod here and there, nothing stupid just subtle things like de-badging, alloys etc

First thing i want to do is change the Fiat badge on the Front Grille and the one on the boot but have no idea of how to get these off in order to replace them with a different badge (dont know what to replace i with yet)
Ive searched about the internet and ive found different answers, some saying there is a screw to undo the front badge under the bonnet but i cant seem to find it. Others are saying i need to use a hairdryer and an old credit card to remove the badges.
So my first question is, how to i remove the badges?
second question is, how would i put the new badges on?

Cheers in advance, any help will be appreciated

i've looked under the bonnet and cant seem to find what attaches the fiat badge to the grill, its either not there or im just blind, anyone tried removing the badge on a mk2b before?

i have another question,
im starting to paint various parts of the interior and i want to remove the roof handles in order to paint them but have discovered you cant use a standard alan key to unscrew them. Fiat have used a sort of star shape alan key instead of the standard hexagon shape, anyone know where i coumd get one of these or if there is an alternative way of unscrewing these things
cheers

iirc if u remove the rear fiat badge, you would need to be fill and respray the area as its fitted in a recess. the rest of the badges are just glued on, same as the side bump strips. as for the front, might be worth while looking for an already de-badged grille. i have a mk2a so facts may be wrong.

Front badge:
You have to remove the front grille. There are (if I remember correctly) 8 screws holding the plastic grille. Be careful, as the screws fit into a fragile plastic lug that breaks easily.
Once you have the grille off, you need a 10mm spanner to undo the single nut holding the badge in place. The badge has a 95mm diameter

Rear badge:
The badge clips into 2 plastic holders. Simply insert a strong plastic/ teflon blade like instument (so you don't scratch the car) between the boot and the badge, and it should pop off. Just be aware, that the badge might also be held down with some double sided tape (like in my car). I used an old credit card to separate the badge from the boot. Badge diameter is also 95mm

Right, ive finally been able to get some time to attempt getting the front grill badge off but ive hit a small problem,
there are a total of 6 bolts holding the grill on, 4 of which i can get off no problem, however the remaining 2 have completely rusted through and both the nut and bolt are spinning but not undoing
anyone got any ideas of how to get the rusted nut and bolt off
cheers
