Thanks for the info. Currently local dealer is only open for 'key' workers (no pun intended!). I'll try the locksmith I used previously after I smashed the transponder chip in the only key I had for a Punto. At least I have a spare this time!
What car is this?I've lost one of my keys
Anyone else had to get a replacement? Whats the cost from Fiat? Can a second hand one be reprogrammed?
Any advice appreciated
TIA
Steve
Look in the tipo section.. somebody did the same recently.. prices were fair
This looks to be a Mazda 5 in disguise.
I'm looking into the s/ware.
Looks like it multiecuscan didn't appear to support the car Which I was rather surprised at. So dosnt look to be fiat ECUsYes.. shipped from Japan with FIAT or Abarth badges
So.. is it 'japanese' lock tech..?
Mitsubishi system
chip is ID47
Used on Mazda 5 & CX-5
Pleased to report, I found the missing key - well to be correct, my wife found it.
Thanks to all for the advice - I'll be more careful in future (if I keep it...)
