Obviously if the 500 isn't suitable then it needs to go, but i wouldn't bother starting another pcp agreement just for a warranty.
...Are you saying pay the last payment, then trade it in so the car will be worth more than £4770 that I owe. but trade it against an almost new one, I guess we could trade up to an Abarth in that case or any other brand.
Best option is to continue to pay around £170 pcm for a 500 and upgrade the RAV first...
what do you think ?
For now though, it seems that you will almost certainly have at least £1000 to put towards any new car on top of any other offers at your dealer once a PX deal is offered. So you will have a few options available which is always nice.
Let us know how you get on anyway!![]()
But if you never own then you always end up paying 150 to 200 quid a month and for what?
Well, you get a new car with a brand new warranty...![]()
Concerning our old POP, we bought that at a significant discount (£7495) from a reseller as the car was ex Fiat fleet, saved about 2.5k over what we could have paid from a Fiat dealer off the forecourt. Had the car for 27 months and PX'd it for a smideon under 6k, which considering that the PX guides were firmly stating that the trade would only pay £5450 (last December's figures), I don't think I got a bad deal. So over the 27 months we had the car, it depreciated by just over 1.5k.
Lol, yeah you might be!
I think you might be pleasantly surprised by the 500L. If you look at it as a car purely on its own (and not think about whether it is or isn't a 500), I think it's a really good car. Not managed to test drive one yet but it does seem a good package.

I know what you mean about the Forum ;-)
You need a petrol, that's for certain. Just look at all the various specs of all the cars you are interested in, and make sure you have a decent test drive.
If you are looking at a jeep then the 2015 Renegade is the one for you, I really like it.
You will have to wait until later on this year...but it is made by Fiat in Italy!
Its based on the 500l and about the same size
Agreed re Petrol, it seems I am heading in the direction of paying off the PCP on the 500 and keeping my options open.
In reality, how many of us own our own things?
More than you might think.
IIRC about four in ten house sales in the UK are cash transactions with no mortgage involved.
Talking to a colleague who works at a BMW dealership the other day, he said roughly half the buyers across the range are cash buyers, no, not crooks, but cashed up business owners and professionals.
