Having had a prod around the turbo actuator, which isn't doing what it's supposed to and by the looks of things hasn't been for quite a while, I'm tempted to remove the whole turbo assembly (including the actuator) and give it a damn good clean out.
Is it worth doing, or am I just letting myself in for a load of spanner rash, sheared bolts and frustration? How complex a job is it?
How about the turbo cleaning kits I've seen - can't remember the name of them but thy're about £40-45 - are they easy to use and do they work?
