removing punto evo front bumper

quick guide to remove the front bumper of the punto evo.

tools needed
star drive,
philips screwdriver,
something to put bumper on to protect it. (i used a foam sheet)

0. Remove indicator bulb holders from lamp units
1. remove the 4 star drive screws from under the car,
2. remove the 2 philips screws below car
3. remove the 2 philips screws on each arch, you will need to turn the wheels to allow better access
4. remove the star drive from each arch
5. remove the 4 star drives from the top of the bumper
6. gently pull the bumper from the arches to allow it to pop out of the clips.

now the bumper should be loose
pull off, if you have fog lights you will need to disconnect them, if i remember there is another cable to remove (on a connector)

7. place bumper on protective sheet

Thanks for this guide. Helped ensuring we took off enough of the screws when popping the clips.

If your screws have rusted slightly it will take some pressure to loosen. We put some WD40 on them to help for next time.

Also why did you take the indicator bulb out?
