Not exactly sure wot u call this carpet type felt thingy attached 2 the bonnet im assuming it keeps noise levels down slightly,im just wondering if i remove this will the temperature affect my paint work?

I have a HGT and I removed mine.
As you say, I think they are for noise level but I can't tell the difference, but that might be due to the exhaust on the back. lol

Just removing it as its starting to look tatty but im also having an evo vent fitted so i want to allow hot air out as much as possible.
