Technical remote central locking

my key fob will not lock the car any more it will set the alarm and unlock it anyone have any ideas why? or how i can fix it

Hi mate, try manually locking both sides of your car, then unlock both sides, then set the alarm and see if it now works.

If not, then manually unlock both sides, then manually lock, then set the alarm, and see if that works.

One of the above worked for me when my locks froze and the central locking stopped working!

had the same problem seems to be the door catch not quite closing enough
door does shut ok
cured mine by spraying liberally with wd 40 in and around the door catch
fortunatly didn,t have to remove door card
