Technical Central locking on fiat coupe non turbo 20v

Hi I'm new on here and am stuck I got a v reg fiat coupe 20v non turbo and my drivers lock is broken so I always use central locking the other day car was frozen so poured hot water over locks to defrost them witch worked but now I got no central locking so can't lock drivers door as lock is broken I've checked all the fuses I can find and all ok can anyone help oh alarm disconnected and button on thin don't work and never has but key in passengerside used to work thank u in advance

Good chance you've possibly flooded your actuator / door locking mechanism
Hence why boiling water isn't a good idea

I'd be half tempted to pop the door card off - have a look inside, see if there is a water log anywhere - allow actuator to dry out

Coupe doors are notorious for freezing. Best thing to unlock is 'blow-job' your locks!
Put the tip of the key into the key opening and blow into several times. Does it for me!
