Remote Central Locking Help

Hey

I've bought the Fiat Remote Central locking relay kit. Meta M20/1. Before I install it, I've got a couple of questions.

1. Are there any fuses I need to remove before I go messing with the relays?
2. How do I get to the relays? I've unscrewed all the screws in my glovebox, but can't see how it pulls out.

1. Just remove negative earth on battery.
2. Remove all screws, one just behind the locking mechanism on top, I missed it and wondered why it didnt come off. When its loose , push the glovebox from left side on the place where govebox meets dash (door cards cover this area so open the door, wonder how you would even try this with door closed...), there are little clips that come out with "litte" pushing, then just pull it off.

How do you mean remove negative earth on the battery? Take off the negative connection part?

i changed mine without disconnecting battery. one tip. when you take the old relay out take note which way the pins are then put the remote in the same way.

I disconnected the battery and fitted it. Just seen your post now, but yeah I made sure I noticed which way the pins were .

Not bad for £30

Tez, Where did you manage to pick up the M20 relay for 30 quid?

I'm currently looking for one but can only find abbacus car alarms website that had them for 80 pounds and they are currently out of stock
