This is incredible. This is far before my time but still loving the it XD

I would love to see a late eighties/early nighties catalog then I could relate to it a bit more :)

Check out the car radios with the mechanical push buttons for the wavebands! I recognise several of those! In fact I had most of them (the cheap ones!)
It was around that time that the first VCR's came out.
 
Have a good chortle at the Fidelity, Decca and Sharp "Music Centres". They really were awful but they were the first units to put all the functions of turntable, radio and cassette together in a modern unit. The Japanese blew them away very shortly after this with Hitachi, Sony, JVC, Pioneer etc. Especially with their "separates" units.
Note the prices though. Approx £200 was probably about 4x the average weekly wage at the time. Think how much cheaper things are now in this category!

I still own an original Sony Walkman and a later version that had an inbuilt radio too.
