I don't normally do thanks in advance, as I like to see feedback to help others, and confirm that I or others have given correct advice.
Also I do not have an x230 Ducato to compare with but I can state that what is used as an aid to identification is the relay socket colour.

The x230 uses a starter solenoid relay, with a red base. The headlight relays (Main & Dip) have blue bases. Heater fan has green base.

These four should be easy to check by pulling individual relays, and checking for non operation of particular device. Do you have a specific problem, or are you just being prepared?

For feedback please confirm that above is correct.

Sorry posted reply before finished, I am trying everything to get it started and find out what is what very difficult. It started first time no problem then nothing. Pretty blind in where to go. Finding out what relay does what etc no info. I hope your info gets me somewhere to check. Van seems to put up roadblocks again and again. Sender unit was iffy but it still indicated something but since no start it sits at zero so no idea if there a relay etc for that all fuses checked out.
I'm disabled so limited in what I can do.
Thanks in advance.

Well the fix was actually nothing, unknown to me van had immobiliser.
Van had decided to have a "rest" I was looking for relay designation so in case 1 was acting up.
I walked away from the van bit non the wiser and came back to it day or so later . stuck key in the ignition and on the dash came a light with CODE , never had happened before so turned the key to start off she went now problem. Then the real test switched van off turned on ignition no Code this time turded key started right up, did it again no problem.
I have been advised that I could remove the cover around the ignition and clean the connectors to the aerial for the immobiliser, did not have the courage to fiddle before I went away (Coward). So maybe towards the end of season with do that,
many thanks
